Why is the Government Making Me Pay My Employees?

After working hard to earn my father's inherited spot at the top of this company, I was informed that I was actually required to pay the workers in my employ. After investigating these claims, I came to a shocking discovery: the people forcing me to hand over my hard-earned money to some nobodies, are none other than our very own government. When will these D.C. goons cease their crusade against the hard working CEOs of this nation? I built this company with my great-grandfather's own hands. What caused the bureaucratic goblins to hate small business owners so much, to the point where they're attacking the defenseless corporate executives that built this nation? I think this all goes back to when this nation lost a valuable piece of itself: laissez-faire business policy. The moment we allowed the public to affect our commercial interests was the same time we lost all freedom in this country. Who's to say that those employees even deserve pay? It's been proven that paying employees lowers wages for everyone else in the company. Frankly, I don't think it's worth a loss of profits, only for them to be wasted by ungrateful workers paying for "health insurance", or "education", or "food". That money could be better spent sitting in an offshore bank account, free of the burden of taxation.
